Chimamanda practically called us fools.

Funny enough. I was thinking it. I was thinking of how people act when their views on a certain matter are very different from the widely accepted views of widely accepted people.

I thought if someone finds himself or herself in such a position, does one air the view anyway or ignore his or her own view and accept the widely accepted one or just keep shut.

Personally I don’t like giving my two cents on a topic if I’m not asked directly or I just say my piece on my social media accounts without tags or hashtags so that if you agree or you do not agree and you decide to come for me, I’ll simply say I was talking to myself, you not agreeing to what I’m saying to myself is your cup of tea, dorling.

I am yet to read the full essay but from the excerpts I’ve seen, chei! somebody or 'somebodies' annoyed Chimamanda.
